Did you know that Girolamo Forni also supplied Villa La Rotonda with wood? This is attested by Mario Saccardo in the 1987 Bollettino CISA XXIV, which deals with the improvement of the Rotonda promoted by Odorico and Mario Capra (1591-1619). The in-depth study concerns the expense report incurred in the construction of the Rotonda until 1618, where there is a reference to an expense which took place on June 18, 1595 relating to “i legni 5 di pè 14 de 8 et de 3” which were supplied the timber merchant Girolamo Forni.
